Happy Volunteers  Volunteers Needed!

This summer, KUT is moving into the new KUT Public Media Studios! We have been working hard over the past three years to fund the building, and we're in the final push to raise $1M for KUT's new home. KUT's special Capital Campaign Drive is May 7th through May 11th. We really need your help to answer pledge phones.

Volunteering is a fun way to see the station behind-the-scenes, meet new people, hobnob with your favorite DJs, and support the station you love. Plus, tasty food will be provided by local restaurants. Just check out these happy volunteers to the left! All set to volunteer? Click below to sign up!

Volunteer Training

The Capital Campaign Drive will be very different from our regular Membership Drives. All volunteers must review the training before their shift. Please click the link below for the training document - it is a quick 5 - 10 minute read. We will also run through the training for a few minutes before each shift for anyone needing a review.

Tell your friends!

Be sure to log on to Facebook or Twitter to tell your friends and followers when you'll be volunteering! Please encourage your coworkers, friends and family to donate (if they call during your shift, you could be the one to answer)!

We also welcome groups - if you have friends or coworkers you think may enjoy volunteering with you, we'd love to have them here. They can sign up for a shift via our Shift Calendar above, or email Kim at volunteer@kut.org to see about availability. It's a great way to bond, network, and even get your group's name mentioned on the air!

KUT is located in the CMB building (map), on the corner of Dean Keeton (26th) and Guadalupe. Our physical address is 2504 Whitis Avenue. Walk around the building and up the stairs to the KUT Lobby. The pledge room is located in the lobby, and signs will point you in the right direction.

Parking

Validated volunteer parking will be provided for the San Antonio Garage (map) at 25th and San Antonio, across Guadalupe from our building. Note: this is the only parking we can validate for.

Several buses also drop off near the building. Route info found at www.capmetro.org.

Ample bicycle parking on both sides of the building.

And carpooling is a great way to get to know your fellow volunteers!
